Sectional Warping Machines Engineered by Rabatex Since 1962
Rabatex has been engineering warping machinery in Ahmedabad for over 60+ years, from manual sectional warpers to today’s servo-controlled, laser-guided systems. Every machine in this range is designed, built, and tested in-house.
How Rabatex's Sectional Warping Range Is Built
Every Rabatex warping machine is built around three things mills ask for most: tension that holds steady across long production runs, beam quality that stays consistent from the first section to the last, and controls your operators can run without extensive retraining.
The range spans servo-controlled and manually operated models, integrated and separate beaming configurations, and working widths from 1900mm to 4400mm. Whatever the automation level, the underlying build quality and tension systems come from the same six decades of manufacturing experience.

Inside Rabatex's Warping Cycle
Yarn Feed and Tension Setup
Yarn is drawn from the creel through servo valve tension control, standard across every model in the range. This holds tension within a set range for the full run, instead of relying on mechanical brakes that drift as bobbins deplete.
Section Formation
Section width and end count need to stay consistent even as warping speed changes. The RI 109 holds this with laser-based density sensing in real time, while the RI 107I, RI 107S, and RI 1006+ use encoder-based tracking to hold the same consistency at their speeds.
Drum Winding
Each section winds onto the drum under servo-controlled movement that coordinates drum rotation, reed position, and tension together. The RI 109 runs this across 3 axes, the RI 107I and RI 107S run single-axis servo control, and the RI 1006+ runs the same sequence manually.
Reed Table Positioning
On the servo-driven models, the reed table repositions for each new section automatically, without manual resetting between sections. This keeps section-to-section spacing accurate through the full width of the warp.
Beaming
Beaming configuration is where the range diverges most: direct drive on the RI 109, integrated heavy-duty beaming on the RI 107I, separate powerful-transmission beaming on the RI 107S, and integrated robust-structure beaming on the RI 1006+. Hydraulic donning and doffing is available across all four, to handle beam changeovers without manual lifting.
Length Measurement and Beam-Off
The RI 109 tracks warp length through an encoder assembly combined with servo calculation, for repeatable length across production batches. The RI 107I, RI 107S, and RI 1006+ track length through encoder assembly alone, without the added servo calculation step.

What Sets Rabatex's Warping Machines Apart
Servo-Coordinated Control
On the servo-driven models, tension, drum speed, and reed positioning adjust together instead of one at a time. Single-axis or manual adjustment tends to let section density drift over a long run. Coordinated control is built to hold it.
Your Choice of Beaming Architecture
Integrated beaming and separate beaming solve different floor-space and workflow problems. Rabatex builds both as dedicated models, not as one machine with a beaming unit added on, so you get a configuration engineered for the setup you actually run.
Precision at Production Speed
Laser density measurement and encoder-based length tracking are built to hold accuracy at full running speed, including the RI 109's top warping speed of 1000 MPM, not only under reduced test conditions.
Six Decades of Manufacturing Behind Every Machine
Rabatex has manufactured textile machinery in Ahmedabad since 1962. The tension systems, servo control, and beaming architecture in this range reflect six decades of adjustments based on what Indian mills actually need from a warping line.
Our Sectional Warping Machine Range
RI 109
High-speed
High-Speed Sectional Warping Machine
Built for mills running at volume. 3-axis servo control, laser-based density measurement, and warping speeds up to 1000 MPM, engineered to hold tension and section accuracy at that speed, not just at reduced test conditions.
RI 107I
Integrated beamer
Sectional Warper with Integrated Beamer
Warping and heavy-duty beaming in a single frame. Single-axis servo control, controlled warping speed and beaming tension, built for mills that want one continuous line rather than two separate stations.
RI 107S
Separate beamer
Sectional Warper with Separate Beamer
Warping paired with an independent beaming unit built for powerful transmission. Gives you flexibility on floor layout and workflow where a combined warping-beaming station doesn’t fit your setup.
RI 1006+
Reliable solution
Reliable Sectional Warping Solution
Robust mechanical construction with manually operated controls and encoder-based length measurement. Built for mills that want dependable warping and beaming without servo-level automation.

Sectional Warping Machines for Different Textile Applications
Denim Mills
Denim warp beams need tension that holds consistently across long runs. Even small variation tends to show up as visible streaking after dyeing, which is why Rabatex’s servo-coordinated tension control matters more here than in most other fabric types.
Home Textiles
Bedsheet and furnishing fabrics usually run on wide working widths with dense sett counts. Rabatex’s section-density sensing keeps density uniform across a wide beam, where drift is easier to miss until the fabric is on the loom.
Terry Towels
Pile height and loop density depend on accurate, consistent section formation from the first section to the last. Rabatex’s laser density measurement is built to hold that accuracy through the full run, not just at the start.
Apparel Fabrics
Apparel mills often run varied yarn counts and warp widths across shorter production batches. Rabatex’s separate beaming setup lets you changeover between batches without reconfiguring the warping line itself.
Industrial Fabrics
Industrial fabric production typically uses heavier yarns and needs stronger, more controlled beaming tension. Rabatex’s integrated heavy-duty beaming unit is built specifically for that load.
Technical Textiles
Technical textile construction often calls for repeatable, documented tension and length settings across batches. Rabatex’s encoder-based length measurement across the range supports that kind of repeatability.
Answers textile manufacturers ask us first.
How does Rabatex maintain tension at high warping speeds?
Through servo valve tension control, coordinated with servo-driven drum speed and reed positioning on the servo models, so tension doesn’t drift as speed changes.
What's the difference between integrated and separate beaming?
Integrated beaming runs the beaming unit directly within the warping frame, for a continuous line. Separate beaming gives you an independent beaming station with its own transmission, useful where floor layout or shift patterns don’t suit a combined setup.
Do I need servo automation experience to run a Rabatex machine?
Yes, the available configurations and optional equipment allow the machines to be adapted to different yarn, fabric, and production requirements.
How is section density measured during warping?
The RI 109 uses laser-based sensing to measure density in real time as speed changes through the run. The RI 107I, RI 107S, and RI 1006+ use encoder-based tracking to hold the same consistency.
Which Rabatex model fits my production requirements?
It depends on your working width, beaming preference, and required automation level. Compare all four models, the RI 109, RI 107I, RI 107S, and RI 1006+, in the specification table above.
How long has Rabatex been manufacturing warping machines?
Since 1962, across more than six decades of building sectional warping and related textile machinery in Ahmedabad.
